A truly unique mix of global attractions and local
charm make Chicago second to none. Home to a great history in architecture, fashion, foods, sports, music and art.
Chicago is also the home of two growing visual art movements with serious growth potential. One being the Rhythmism approach to visual art. Secondly in the world of graphic novels we have the growing Black Age of Comics movement.
Both can be your little discovery adventure!
Both were launched decades ago by Chicago's own Turtel Onli. He is lovingly called "The Father of the Black Age of Comics" for this achievement to diversify the visual arts.
Both are open to all lovers of contemporary visual art!
For a great price you can collect great original art and signed limited edition prints or graphic novels from a true contemporary visual innovator.
Chicago, the third-largest city in the United
States, is located on the shoreline of beautiful Lake Michigan in northeastern
Illinois. One of the top worldwide centers of commerce and trade, Chicago is
also known for its legendary sports heritage and as a global tourism
destination. Each year Chicago welcomes more than 50 million visitors,
many of whom arrive via the city’s two international airports. One of which –
O’Hare International Airport – is the second-busiest in the world. Among
metropolitan areas, Chicago has the fourth-largest gross domestic product (GDP)
in the world, just behind Tokyo, New York City and Los Angeles.
You are invited to make ONLI STUDIOS one of your cultural and urban artistic destinations. By appointment or on our 3rd Fridays events. "I have been so busy in tradition from retiring from teaching in the Chicago Public School system to being a true full time Rhythmistic visual artist. I must say.....it is great! Just as I was retiring some outstanding art lover set up a Wiki listing on me. I am really grateful for that!"
"I am still very committed to the Rhythmistic vision of the visual process being future-primitif in effect and multiglobal in its reach. I recently opened a new studio. It is the 8th non-home based studio of my career."
